Light falling across a concrete staircase — the ascent Insignia builds for family capital

One root. Many branches.

A multi-family office built by Latin American entrepreneurs, for Latin American families — stewarding one capital base across real estate, industry, technology, art and cross-border trade.

The firm

Not a product looking for families.
A family office that grew out of them.

Insignia was formed in 2016 around a consortium of Latin American entrepreneurs whose operating businesses — construction, chemicals, distribution, real estate — had outgrown the advice available to them one country at a time.

Rather than hire five sets of advisors, they built one office in Miami Beach, added a second in Colombia, and gave it the three mandates a traditional family office carries: wealth management, legal advisory and concierge.

Everything else on this site — the developments, the operating companies, the gallery, the trade platforms — came from that room. It is deal flow before it is a product, which is why the screening is done by people who have signed for the same kind of risk with their own names.

Listed real estate is the sum of the three developments Insignia International Realty is currently marketing at their published asking prices. It is not assets under management, which the firm does not disclose.

Services

Three mandates, one relationship.

The classical family office brief, run by one team so nothing falls between advisors in two countries.

01

Wealth management

Allocation across the family's own operating businesses, direct deals and liquid holdings — with a screening process that treats a resort in Cartagena and a technology position on the same page.

Wealth management

02

Legal advisory

Structures that survive a border: entity formation, cross-border holdings, immigration-adjacent planning and succession — coordinated with the family's counsel at home rather than replacing them.

Legal advisory

03

Concierge

The logistics of a life lived in more than one place: schooling, medical, residences, travel, staff, and the small administrative frictions that consume a principal's week.

Concierge

The platform

Five branches from one root.

Insignia does not pick a sector and look for deals in it. It invests where its own families already operate — which is why the list looks like a family's balance sheet rather than a fund's mandate.

Each discipline has its own screening standard, its own operators and, where it matters, its own regulated entity — real estate runs through Insignia International Realty LLC, a licensed Florida brokerage.

Two offices

Staffed at both ends of the flight.

Most cross-border advice fails in the gap between a lawyer who knows Bogotá and a banker who knows Brickell. Insignia keeps people on both sides of that gap.

Questions

What families ask first.

What is a multi-family office, and how is Insignia one?
A multi-family office serves several unrelated families from one shared team, so each family gets institutional-grade advice without paying for a whole in-house staff. Insignia was formed in 2016 around a consortium of Latin American entrepreneurs and now covers wealth management, legal advisory and concierge for all of them.
Who does Insignia work with?
Entrepreneurial families from Latin America — most often first- or second-generation owners of operating businesses — who hold assets in more than one country and want a single team coordinating the United States side of their affairs alongside their existing local advisors.
Does Insignia manage a fund I can buy into?
No. Insignia is not a public fund and nothing on this site is an offer of securities. It invests directly alongside its families, screens opportunities through its own process, and brokers real estate through Insignia International Realty LLC.
What makes a Miami family office useful for a Latin American family?
Miami is where the legal, banking and real estate infrastructure a Latin American family needs in the United States is concentrated, and it is a two- to five-hour flight from most of the region. Insignia keeps a second office in Colombia so both ends are staffed.
